Veterans Holiday Lunch at Lowell VA Clinic	VA Outpatient Clinics, Lowell MA

Dr. Gordon Gibb (pictured), organizer of the Community Table's Billerica Group, worked with the Billerica Lions Club and local churches for support. Lion Bob Kinsman obtained sponsorship for this Veterans Lunch from DAV Billerica Chapter 47.	Community Table Volunteer Cooks & Servers shopped, cooked & served meals to veterans at the VA Clinic's Day Room in Lowell. Bread and Salad being readied for Lunch	Lunch is Served

Food is being prepared in the VCCC kitchen at the Lowell VA. The 40 veterans were very appreciative that someone cares about them.	The home-cooked meal consisted of: salad, bread, spiral-cut ham with glaze, fresh green beans, mashed potatoes, Swiss bakery treats, soft drinks and coffee. Dessert included cake and ice cream.

The healthy menu included delicious treats donated by a local Swiss Bakery for the Veterans Lunch.	Cindy Yeager, Director of the Veterans Community Care Center in Lowell thanks Community Table organizer Dr. Gordon S. Gibb, and DAV Billerica Chapter 47 members Sam Polcari & Roland Durrell for their support.

Thank You Veterans	Veterans Community Care Center

A special surprise for dessert: a red, white and blue "Thank You Veterans" cake. Over 40 veterans joined us for lunch, as well as 8 Lions & Community Table volunteers, 4 DAV 47 Comrades, and 5 VCCC staff members. Everyone commented on the delicious food.	The Veterans Community Care Center is located inside the VA Outpatient Clinics building in Lowell, MA. The VCCC is affiliated with Veterans Affairs New England (VANE), through the Bedford VA Medical Center.
